  • 4 pieces boneless (skinless chicken breasts)
Fats and Oils
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
Aromatics
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
Liquids
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
Cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Vegetables
  • 6 cups fresh spinach (about 6 ounces)
Herbs & Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Add spinach to the sauce and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Serve hot.

Notas

For a richer flavor, add a splash of white wine to the sauce.
