Method
- Prepare the dough: whisk flour and salt, cut in butter, then add egg, water, and vinegar. Knead into a dough, chill for 30 minutes.
- Cook the filling: sauté onion and pepper in oil, add garlic and spices, then chicken broth, olives, and cilantro. Cool slightly.
- Assemble empanadas: roll dough, cut circles, add filling, seal edges, and brush with egg wash.
